Throughout my life I've been exploring the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Beginning in late 2003, when my best friend left this world for higher, crazier mountains than here in the Cascades, I took up his beloved Nikon camera. So, not only do these pictures remind me of the past, they also help me seek an 'Alpine State of Mind'. My hope is that after your visit here, the same can be said for you.
