alpinestateofmind > To get to this spot took me 4 days of effort. After a long day, I woke at around 4a.m. and watched the sun rise over the mountains. I spent a few hours resting on the cold boulders waiting for the sun to soften the snow. Views of Tenpeak consumed me just as much as Glacier Peak did. A few hours later, I would be on top of Tenpeak's North Couloir by myself. The view out over the mountains was a thrill, but it is hard to beat a peaceful morning waiting for the sun to rise over a place like this.
