A swale of wind deposited snow arches over the shores of Robin Lakes like a woman's hip. Behind is Cathedral Peak whose pyramid of rock preens with morning sunlight. Trees shelter in the leeward shadows like dark statues that come alive as sunlight crosses their threshold and snow and ice sickles begin to melt.

Lincoln Peak is a satellite peak of Mt. Baker, a steep escarpment of jagged rock pinched between the Thunder and Deming Glaciers. In winter it is coated in ice, but in summer she stands in contrast to her glaciated Mother Koma Kulshan.
